Terms of service

The agreement for using easycaptcha.to, its browser extension, customer API and prepaid service credit.

Last updated

1. Agreement and scope

These Terms apply to the easycaptcha.to website, dashboard, browser extension, APIs, software, free and paid plans, promotional programs and related features we make available. References to "we", "us" and "our" mean easycaptcha.to. References to "you" mean the person or organization using the service.

By creating an account, installing the extension, submitting a task or activating an earning program, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service. You may read the public website without creating an account.

The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. The published pricing and task documentation describe the applicable service features and charges. A separate agreement signed with a business customer takes precedence where it expressly differs from these Terms.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization. Do not create an account if applicable law prohibits you from using or paying for the service.

Your account uses an email address and password. Keep your password private and use accurate account contact information. Verify your email when required and keep access to it for account notices and recovery. If you enable two-factor authentication, keep your authenticator, security keys and recovery codes secure. Losing them can prevent account access; a password reset does not remove the second-factor requirement.

Keep passwords and API keys confidential. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account and for securing the devices and applications that hold your credentials. Revoke exposed API keys promptly and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not send us a password or complete API key in an email or abuse report.

You may manage several keys for your own permitted installations and integrations. Do not transfer an account, sell access to your credentials or represent yourself as our reseller without our written agreement.

3. Acceptable use

The service provides automated assistance with supported challenges and related processing tasks. Use it only for lawful activity that you are authorized to perform. Assistance with a challenge does not grant permission to access a website, account or system.

You must not use the service to:

  • Send spam, commit fraud, harass others, distribute malware or facilitate other unlawful or abusive activity.
  • Access accounts without permission, test stolen credentials or evade an account suspension or access restriction.
  • Collect or disclose personal information without a lawful basis, or infringe another person's intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Disrupt our service or another system, overload the API deliberately, or bypass account limits and security controls.
  • Submit malicious payloads, interfere with other customers' tasks or misrepresent task feedback.
  • Use another customer's credentials or attempt to retrieve resources belonging to another account.

You are responsible for complying with applicable laws and the rules of websites you visit. If you discover a security issue, contact us with enough information to investigate it without accessing other customers' data or causing disruption. Report misuse through the abuse reporting page.

4. Service and task results

The service processes supported task types as described in the current documentation. Compatibility, task types and available features may change. Some features require specific account permissions or separate approval.

A result is an attempt to complete the submitted challenge. We do not guarantee that every challenge can be completed, that a result will be accepted by a third-party website, or that processing will finish within a particular time. Optional processing modes, account tiers or priority settings do not create a guaranteed response time unless we expressly agree otherwise.

A task can continue after the browser closes, a connection is lost or a request stops waiting. A timeout does not prove that the task failed. Do not automatically submit the same task again when its outcome is unknown; a new submission can incur a separate charge.

Task payloads and results are short-lived and available only during the retention window described in the documentation and Privacy Policy. Retrieve and save any result you need before it expires. Removing a task does not remove related billing or usage records.

Recorded processing failures may restore the associated task charge under the service's billing rules. These rules do not limit remedies that applicable law requires.

5. Prices and account limits

Paid use is charged against service credit at the rates applicable to the task and selected options. Current rates, billing units and any processing-mode adjustments are shown on the pricing page, in the dashboard or in an applicable separate agreement.

Free plans are subject to the eligibility rules, supported features and allowances published in the documentation or shown when you activate or use them. A task or challenge may consume multiple allowance units. Do not create additional free plans or manipulate credentials to evade allowance or issuance limits. We may change the free allowance for future use; it has no cash value.

Account and plan limits may govern concurrent tasks, request volume, available features and scheduling priority. Different task types may consume different amounts of capacity. Reaching a spending or usage tier does not itself grant access to features requiring separate approval.

The applicable price is determined when a task is accepted. Changes to published prices apply to later submissions and do not retroactively change an accepted task's charge. We will communicate material pricing changes before they take effect where notice is required.

Enterprise and partner arrangements may have separately agreed fees, billing periods and service commitments. Use our sales contact form for a custom plan. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchases, except taxes imposed on our own income. Any taxes we collect will be disclosed with the applicable payment information.

6. Payments and service credit

Your balance is service credit denominated in US dollars. It can be used to purchase eligible tasks. It is not a bank deposit, investment, transferable currency or an interest-bearing account, and it cannot be withdrawn or transferred to another customer, except that eligible affiliate and developer earnings may be considered for a separately approved payout under section 7.

Eligible top-ups may include promotional service credit at the rates shown in the dashboard and documentation. Bonuses are calculated from the base deposit, have no separate cash value and do not generate referral commissions. A deposit reversal may also reverse its associated bonuses.

Follow the payment instructions shown in the dashboard. Check the receiving address, network and exact quoted amount before sending a payment. You are responsible for network fees and for using a compatible wallet and the correct network.

Exchange-rate quotes apply for the validity period shown with the payment instructions. Funds first observed after that period may be valued at a later rate. Partial and extra payments may receive proportional service credit after the required confirmations. A quote expiring does not make its address stop receiving funds.

A transfer can be delayed by network conditions or confirmations. A blockchain reorganization can change confirmation status and require a previously applied credit to be adjusted. We may block further paid tasks while an account's available balance is insufficient.

Deposits are ordinarily non-refundable, and unused service credit cannot be cashed out. Sending funds to an incorrect address or unsupported network may be irreversible. These restrictions do not override a statutory cancellation, refund or other consumer right. Where such a right applies, we will handle it in accordance with applicable law.

If a payment or invoice appears incorrect, contact us with the payment reference, transaction ID and relevant dates. Do not make a second transfer solely because a screen failed to update. A pending invoice does not remove credit already applied to your account.

7. Affiliate and developer programs

You may activate either program or both in the dashboard. Activation and participation are subject to these Terms. Theprogram documentation explains how to share codes, attribute requests and read settlement totals.

Referral programs may award earnings for eligible activity by customers you refer, and developer programs may award earnings for eligible usage attributed to your software. Rates, caps, qualifying activity, customer bonuses and attribution methods are described in the current program documentation or dashboard. Participation does not guarantee referrals, usage or earnings.

Attribution must follow the published program rules, including any deadlines, code or tag requirements and restrictions on changing an established relationship. Self-referrals, your own attributed usage and artificial activity are not eligible for earnings. Attribution codes and tags do not replace customer authentication or authorize access to another person's account.

Earnings are calculated from eligible net activity and settled into service balance according to the published program schedule. Promotional credit, free activity, reversed payments and refunded charges do not generate earnings unless the applicable program expressly states otherwise. Pending amounts are not an approved cash payout. Corrections and reversals can reduce earnings; amounts already credited may be recovered through a later balance adjustment.

Payouts of eligible program earnings require separate approval through a Billing support ticket. Activation does not enable automatic withdrawals, and a request does not guarantee approval. We may require information needed to verify eligibility, prevent fraud and satisfy applicable legal requirements before approving a payout. Purchased credit and promotional bonuses are not withdrawable under these programs. You are responsible for taxes applicable to your program earnings.

Clearly disclose that you may earn credit or compensation when promoting the service or distributing software that attributes paid requests to you. Make the disclosure easy to see alongside the recommendation or relevant integration information. Do not make misleading claims, send spam, impersonate us, create artificial referrals or tasks, or use someone else's credentials without permission. Participation does not make you our employee, agent or authorized reseller.

We may restrict participation for fraud, abuse or a breach of these Terms and correct earnings attributable to invalid activity. Material changes to program rates or eligibility apply prospectively, with notice where required. Changes do not remove valid earnings already accrued, subject to corrections, reversals and applicable law.

8. Software and intellectual property

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service and released extension for your own authorized activity. This permission lasts while your use complies with these Terms.

We and our licensors retain rights in our software, website content, branding and documentation. You may not copy, redistribute or sell our proprietary materials except as these Terms or a separate license allow. Third-party software and assets remain subject to their own license notices. Nothing here restricts rights expressly granted by an open-source license or rights that applicable law does not allow us to restrict.

You may send suggestions or feedback voluntarily. We may use suggestions to improve the service without owing compensation or a confidentiality obligation, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Do not include confidential information or material you are not entitled to share.

9. Your data and submissions

You retain any rights you have in information submitted through your account. You grant us only the permission needed to receive, process and return your tasks, operate your account, maintain billing records and investigate service or abuse reports, as described in the Privacy Policy.

You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit that information. Send only information required for the task. Do not include unrelated passwords, financial information, medical records or other sensitive personal information in a task or support message.

We may reject or remove submissions that violate these Terms or applicable law. If you process another person's information through the API, you remain responsible for the notices, permissions and other obligations that apply to your use.

10. Third-party services

hCaptcha and the websites on which challenges appear are operated independently of easycaptcha.to. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by those operators unless expressly stated. Their names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Third-party websites, browser software, wallets and blockchain networks may have their own terms and privacy practices. Their availability, policies and technical changes are outside our control. A link from our website does not constitute a guarantee or endorsement.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. Disable or uninstall the extension and revoke keys you no longer need. Contact us if you want to close the account or request deletion of personal information.

We may limit, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these Terms, fraud, security risks, unlawful activity or a legal requirement. We may act immediately where advance notice would create a risk or is legally prohibited. Otherwise, we will provide an explanation and an opportunity to resolve the issue where reasonably practicable.

If you believe a restriction was applied in error, contact us with the account or request reference. Do not create replacement accounts to evade it. We will consider information you provide when reviewing the restriction.

Ending access stops future use but does not automatically cancel tasks already submitted or remove outstanding lawful charges. Account closure does not erase records we must retain for legal, accounting or security purposes. Any mandatory entitlement relating to unused credit remains unaffected.

If we discontinue a paid service, we will provide notice where reasonably practicable and handle outstanding purchases and unused credit as applicable law and any separate agreement require.

12. Warranties and consumer rights

We aim to provide the service with reasonable care. Maintenance, outages, network failures and changes to third-party systems can affect availability. Unless a separate agreement states otherwise, we do not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free results or suitability for every integration.

For business customers, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement only to the extent such disclaimers are lawful.

If you use the service as a consumer, you retain all mandatory rights concerning conformity, remedies, cancellation and refunds under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms waives those rights or excludes a guarantee that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit.

Subject to that rule, for business customers we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost business opportunities or losses caused by third-party systems outside our reasonable control. Our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us for the affected service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, to the extent permitted by law.

For consumers, any limitation applies only to the extent lawful. We do not exclude responsibility for losses that applicable law requires us to remedy. You should take reasonable steps to avoid preventable losses, including protecting credentials and avoiding duplicate submissions after an ambiguous timeout.

14. Business customers

If you use the service for business purposes, you agree to indemnify us against reasonable third-party claims and costs caused by your unlawful use, material breach of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights through information you submit. This does not apply to claims caused by our own breach or unlawful conduct.

We will give prompt notice of a covered claim, allow you a reasonable opportunity to participate in its defense, and reasonably cooperate. No settlement may admit fault on our behalf or impose a non-monetary obligation on us without our written consent. This business indemnity does not apply to consumers.

15. Complaints and disputes

Contact us first if you have a complaint about a charge, account restriction or service problem. Include relevant task, payment or request IDs and explain the outcome you are seeking. We will review the information and respond through the contact channel you provide.

Applicable law determines the courts and legal remedies available for a dispute. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, waive a consumer's right to bring proceedings in a competent court, or remove protections granted by the law of the consumer's habitual residence where those protections apply.

16. Changes and general terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service, legal requirements or business arrangements. We will update the date on this page and give notice of material changes where required. Changes will apply prospectively. Where the law requires your agreement to a change, we will obtain it rather than treating silence as agreement.

If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. Neither party may assign this agreement in a way that unlawfully reduces the other party's rights. We may transfer it as part of a business reorganization or sale, subject to applicable law and any required notice.

Neither party is responsible for delay caused by an event beyond its reasonable control where applicable law excuses that delay. This does not excuse charges already owed or remove mandatory consumer remedies. Provisions that by their nature must continue, including payment obligations, intellectual property and lawful liability provisions, survive termination.

These Terms and any expressly agreed additional terms form the agreement concerning the service. No person who is not a party gains enforcement rights solely from these Terms, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
