Start in the extension

Download the extension, install it, and open its popup. Choose Free plan, accept the terms of service and privacy policy, and activate your allowance. Keep Solve hCaptcha enabled.

You do not need to create an account, add credit, or enter an API key. Eligibility checks apply when you activate the plan. If activation fails, the popup shows the error.

What is included

The free plan includes 25 hCaptcha recognition groups per allowance. It supports binary image selection, area selection, and drag/drop challenges through the extension.

One group is nine binary tiles, one area-selection image, or one drag/drop image. A challenge with 18 binary tiles uses two recognitions; one with 27 uses three. Area and drag/drop challenges with multiple images also use one recognition per image.

The popup shows how many recognitions remain. Token API tasks, burst, and fast require a paid API key.

Automatic renewal

The extension renews your allowance automatically as you use it, once renewal is available. Each allowance lasts 24 hours, and renewal becomes available after 20 hours. Renewal resets the allowance to 25 groups; unused recognitions do not carry over.

If you return more than seven days after the previous allowance expired, you need to activate the free plan again.

Need more usage?

Create a paid account, add credit, and make an API key in the dashboard. In the extension popup, select Use your own API key and enter it. The paid key takes priority while connected, and your saved free plan remains stored.
