Affiliate and developer programs
Earn service credit from referrals or paid requests through your software. Learn how to activate each program, share codes, and request payout approval.
Activate a program
Sign in to the dashboard and open Affiliates. Anyone with an account can activate the referral program, the developer program, or both. Each program has its own activation button. Activation gives you a referral code and link, a developer tag, or both, depending on your selection.
Revenue is credited to your service balance daily after midnight UTC. You can use that credit for paid tasks. Withdrawals require approval; activating a program does not enable automatic cash payouts.
Referral program
You earn 10% of each referred account’s confirmed base deposits, up to its first $100 deposited. Your maximum referral revenue is therefore $10 per referred account, across all of its deposits. Top-up bonuses and affiliate balance credits do not count toward the deposit amount used for commission.
For example, a referred account deposits $30 and later deposits $90. You earn $3 from the first deposit and $7 from the eligible portion of the second, reaching the $10 cap. Later deposits from that account produce no additional referral commission.
Share a code or link
Copy your code or referral link from Dashboard → Affiliates:
- Code: the new customer enters your code when creating their first top-up.
- Link: the customer follows your referral link, which saves a referral cookie for 30 days. The first referral cookie is retained rather than replaced by later referral links. Registration retains the referral code so attribution can survive cookie expiration.
An explicitly entered code takes precedence over registration or cookie attribution when creating a payment. Once a referrer is attached to the account, it cannot be changed. Apply the code before the account’s first confirmed top-up; existing depositors cannot be attributed later. Self-referrals are not allowed.
The referred customer’s bonus
The referred customer gets an extra 10% bonus on their first confirmed top-up only. It stacks with the normal top-up bonus, with both calculated from the base deposit amount:
| Base top-up | Normal bonus | Extra referral bonus | Total bonus on the eligible first top-up |
|---|---|---|---|
| Under $10 | 0% | 10% | 10% |
| $10–$29.99 | 5% | 10% | 15% |
| $30–$59.99 | 10% | 10% | 20% |
| $60–$99.99 | 20% | 10% | 30% |
| $100 or more | 30% | 10% | 40% |
For example, a $30 eligible first deposit adds $36 in service credit: $30 base, $3 normal bonus, and $3 referral bonus. The referrer earns $3; the commission is calculated from the $30 deposit, not the $36 credited balance.
The one-time bonus follows the first confirmed deposit transaction, not every payment address or later transaction. Payment quotes show eligibility, and payment summaries itemize the bonus actually credited. See pricing for the service’s billing units.
Developer program
Activate Developer program on the same Affiliates screen to get your developer tag. You earn 5% of paid task credit spent on attributed requests through your software. This program does not use the referral program’s $10-per-account cap.
Add your tag to each task creation request, using either the header:
X-Developer-Tag: YOUR_DEVELOPER_TAG
or the JSON request body:
{
"type": "hcaptcha_token",
"sitekey": "YOUR_SITEKEY",
"url": "https://your-site.example/login",
"developer_tag": "YOUR_DEVELOPER_TAG",
"hold": 30
}
Use the exact tag shown in the dashboard. If you provide both header and body tags, they must match. Unknown tags are rejected before task admission. Tags apply only to that request and cannot be configured on an API key.
The request still needs the customer’s API key in Authorization: Bearer .... A developer tag identifies who earns revenue; it does not grant access to the API or let your software charge your developer account on behalf of a customer.
Free-plan tasks, refunded task credit, and your own requests do not generate developer revenue. For example, $20 of eligible paid task credit spent through your software generates $1 in developer revenue. See the API reference and token API examples for authentication and the task lifecycle.
Daily credits and adjustments
The dashboard shows Earned, Credited to balance, and Pending amounts separately for each program, plus the next settlement time. Pending revenue becomes service balance during daily settlement after midnight UTC.
Reversed deposits and refunded tasks can reduce earnings. If revenue was already credited, a later settlement can make a balance adjustment. The totals reflect net eligible activity, rather than guaranteeing a commission on reversed work.
Request payout approval
Affiliate and developer revenue cannot be withdrawn without approval because of anti-money-laundering requirements. In Dashboard → Affiliates, choose Request payout approval. This opens the dashboard’s ticket screen with Billing preselected.
Explain that you are requesting approval to withdraw affiliate or developer revenue in the ticket message. Support reviews the request and any required checks before funds are sent. Opening a ticket does not transfer funds or guarantee approval; there is no automatic withdrawal endpoint.
Keep your account password and API keys out of the ticket. Revenue figures and relevant payment or task identifiers can help support understand the request.
