A provider comparison is easier to use when it starts with the workflow you need to support. MultiBot has several documented interfaces, so the relevant comparison depends on which one your application uses. Here we look at how that choice affects an integration with easycaptcha.

MultiBot interfaces

MultiBot documents both a classic in.php/res.php interface and JSON createTask/getTaskResult endpoints. Its API page also describes hCaptcha token and recognition inputs. A comparison should name the interface being evaluated: the classic and JSON paths are not interchangeable request schemas.

Integration detail easycaptcha MultiBot documented interfaces
Submission POST /v1/task Classic in.php or JSON createTask
Retrieval GET /v1/task/{task_id} Classic res.php or JSON getTaskResult
Credential placement Authorization Bearer header Interface-specific key parameters
Task input Typed recognition or token body Classic fields or JSON task definition

Match input and output separately

An existing MultiBot integration may supply a sitekey and page URL for a token, or an encoded image and question for recognition. easycaptcha also separates recognition from tokens, but its recognition request carries the structured challenge in task. Do not rename one field and assume the entire request has been migrated.

Write down the operation, challenge type, grouping, and expected result. Then map each to the easycaptcha API schema. Enterprise access, proxy configuration, and any provider-specific data need their own review. Verify current availability rather than assuming examples cover every production configuration.

Review credential exposure and unknown submissions

If a classic client includes a key in a query string, its URL may enter request logs. Changing vendors is a useful time to review redaction and stop logging complete credential-bearing URLs. easycaptcha’s customer key belongs in an Authorization header; it should still be redacted.

For either API, persist the returned task ID and retrieve that task when work is pending. An uncertain creation response is different from a definite rejection. Unconditional retries can produce duplicate paid work.

Compare a real workload

Use the same intended application actions for both services and retain unknown outcomes. Compare the billed unit and any applicable adjustments before estimating cost per accepted result. Recognition and token operations should be reported separately. Our measurement guide provides a reporting model, while the Python guide demonstrates easycaptcha’s job lifecycle.

Frequently asked questions

Why identify the exact MultiBot interface before comparing APIs?

MultiBot has multiple documented interfaces. The credentials, inputs, and retrieval behavior depend on the interface your application actually uses.

What contract does easycaptcha offer for customer jobs?

It provides Bearer-authenticated task creation and retrieval with typed recognition and token results. Use its API reference when writing an adapter.

How can I evaluate easycaptcha on my own workload?

Start with a small integration trial using representative hCaptcha tasks. Compare observed acceptance, final outcomes, and costs in the actual billing unit rather than relying on a feature table alone.
